Our school organized an inter-class soccer competition after mid-year examination. Each class has to form ten members in a team. When our class, 5D, monitor gave us the form, our class soccer players quickly take the form and write their name. Soon, we join in the competition.
The first match started on 16/5/07. We played against 5H. When the match played about three quarter time, we came to cheer for them. Finally, we scored 3:0 and went into the semi-final.
Next day on 17/5/07, we played against with 5F. We have no chance to watch the match, but the soccer players told us that we had won again by 5:1 after the match. It was 5C and 5E are battling next. One of the player, Raphael said: “If 5C win, we will battle with 5C; if 5E won, we will battle with 5E”. My friend from 5E said that if they battle with us, they will for sure to lose because we have 4 good soccer players and they only have 2.
Soon after we got the result and knew that 5C had won. We are going to play against 5C. Our team had finally scored one point and the score is 1:0. We cheer for our soccer players and shout our soccer captain’s name ‘Brandon’. As 5C also has a player named ‘Brandon’, so we shout his given name, ‘诗洲’. The group did not pronounce his name properly, his name end up from ‘诗洲’ to ‘吃粥, we will too excited and shout ‘eat porridge’ in the end. After the break, my friend asks me to help him to fill up his water bottle, so I do what he asks me to do. When I come back, my friend said that when I go off, 5C score 1 goal and now we are having penalty kick now. A moment later, my friend said if Ryan (our soccer player) goal, we will win, if he doesn’t we will lose. Finally my friend, Ryan, kick the ball into the goal and we won. We walk together to the canteen and buy drinks. Ryan said that the moment he kick, the ball he close his eyes and the last scene he saw was the ball rolling into the goal. After we drink finish we together walk to the place we always play game.
